I wanted to take a moment to share a recipe that was part of our Easter meal at my parent's house. With my kids' Spring Break taking place the day after Easter, I didn't have a chance to share all of our special Easter recipes.
These are called Lula Kebabs and are a very tasty alternative to regular beef or lamb steak kebabs. You can serve them as the main dish or alongside your regular shish kebabs, as my parents did.

What Ingredients Do I Need to Make Lula Kebabs?
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- ¼ cup chopped mint
- ½ yellow onion
- ½ tablespoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons lemon
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin oil
- 2 teaspoon allspice
- ½ teaspoon coriander
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
How Do I Make Lula Kebabs?
Mix together both kinds of ground meat and seasonings. Shape the meat into flattened long patties or rounded links.

Grill until cooked thoroughly, but be careful not to let the meat get dried out.
